Piston rod (2) is sealed off in a working cylinder (1) in an arrangement in which the piston rod is housed in a hollow body (4) between the piston plate (5) and the working cylinder flange (6). A seal (8) is provided between the rod and the hollow body and a guide sleeve (9) with stripper rings (10) prevents residues of cut material or cleaning agent entering the working space. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for foodstuffs processing, e.g. sausage filling. Leaking fluid does not contact foodstuff.
