<p>PURPOSE:To determine performance of a trial product using a movable part by simulating relationship between moving stroke and force at an operating part of an operating member according to the position and power control of the movable part being driven by an electromagnetic driving member and then designing and manufacturing the trial product based on the data thus obtained. CONSTITUTION:In a simulator 1, coil frame of a voice coil type electromagnetic driving member 2 is coupled with a movable part 12 supported while floating by an air bearing 11, a position sensor 3 is disposed oppositely to one end of the movable part 12 and an operating part 13 is provided at the other end of the movable part 12. The member 2 is subjected to feedback control so that the member 2 exhibits preset stroke-force characteristics. In the simulation, stroke-force curve of push button switch is input by means of a mouse or the like using a computor. Consequently, operational feeling can be attained from the reaction to depression of the operating part 13. A push button switch 4 thus designed and manufactured by way of trial is butted against the operating part 13 and driving current of the member 2 is controlled based on positional information of the sensor 3. A stroke-force curve is determined from the positional information and the current value and the curve can be collated with previous one.</p> |
