PURPOSE:To omit the control of document to be done by a document floppy disk by controlling unitarily all documents not for each document storing medium without limiting the physical capacity of the floppy disk, etc. CONSTITUTION:A document control file 1 controls the major item names, the minor item names, the document names, and the floppy disk FD names for each level. Both major and minor item names are supplied by registration of users. In regard of the document names for each minor item, the title of the relevant document is registered into the minor item selected by a user. The FD name is set by the user when a document floppy disk 2 is turned into a format used for a document. Then the FD name is registered into the part of a label 3 of a floppy disk medium concurrently with registration of the document name. Then a specific disk 2 which stores a specific document is controlled by the software of a word processor when the FD name is controlled via the file 1. |
