The circuit provides a television receiver with an automatic search function of test pattern signal generated from a video regenerator. The circuit includes a modulator (11) for modulating test pattern signal into the high frequency signal of a specific channel, a tuner (24) for tuning the high frequency signal of the channel specified by tuning data generated by a microprocessor, a signal detector (26) for detecting vertical synchronizing signal from output signal of the tuner, a microprocessor (21) for generating variable tuning data according to key input of a remote controller (23) and for deciding and memorizing correct tuning data according to the output detector. |
