PURPOSE:To provide a camera provided with a device for detecting the line of sight by which a photometric value obtained by considering the entire object field with a main object as center is obtained. CONSTITUTION:This camera is provided with a photometry means 10 detecting the brightness of divided small areas by dividing the object field into plural small areas for photometry, a classification decision means performing plural kinds of classification based on the selection of the specified small area out of plural small areas, and an arithmetic means 100 calculating the photometric value by changing the weighting of the brightness of plural small areas based on the classification decided by the classification decision means. By providing a selection means selecting the specified small area based on information detected by the devices for detecting the line of sight 101 and 14, the photometric value obtained by considering the entire object field with the main object as center is obtained. |
