PURPOSE:To obtain a stereoscopic video equipment in which a wide angle 2-eye picture is picked up and the picked-up picture is displayed stereoscopically with a wide angle and an equal visual field as the picked-up visual field. CONSTITUTION:A 2-eye image pickup device 1 is a device in which two CCD cameras used for a right eye and a left eye are arranged at an interval equal to that of both eyes of a user and fixed on a frame and the picked-up 2-eye picture is sent to a stereoscopic display device 2 through a coaxial cable or the like. The picture of both the left and right eyes obtained by the 2-eye image pickup device 1 is displayed on the stereoscopic display device 2 and given to the left and right eyes of the user respectively. The direction of image pickup is commanded by operating a direction controller by the user. The manipulated variable given to a handle 3 is inputted to the direction controller 4 and the direction of the 2-eye image pickup device 1 is controlled in response to the manipulated variable. |
