PURPOSE:To prevent fuel pressure undershooting when a target pressure, determined by an engine operation condition, is decreased less than an actual fuel pressure, in a fuel pressure control device of an internal combustion engine for controlling fuel pressure to the optimum in accordance with the engine operation condition. CONSTITUTION:In a fuel pressure control device of an internal combustion engine provided with a pump 6 for pressurizing fuel to feedback-control a degree of fuel pressurization by the pump 6 based on an integrate value of a deviation between at least both a target pressure and a fuel pressure so that the fuel pressure agrees with the target pressure determined by an engine operation condition, updating the integrated value is limited when the target pressure is less than the present fuel pressure by a prescribed pressure or more. |
