PURPOSE:To prevent a bill of an unexpectedly expensive communication charge by allowing a caller to designate area specific information allowing the connec tion to a communication opposite party to a public exchange at the time of a call. CONSTITUTION:When a caller 401 enters an opposite party PS number and a code representing an area permitting the connection, a caller PS 402 sends a call setup signal to a caller exchange 404, a relay exchange 405 retrieves a position management table by using the PS number M key to read position information to compare an area code in the call setup signal with position information. When the position of a called PS is registered within the area designated by the caller 401, the exchange 404 sends the call setup signal to a called exchange 406, and when the position is not registered within the designated area, the exchange 404 sends a release signal representing disable connection to the caller PS 402. Thus, even when a mobile terminal equipment being a communication opposite party is moved to an unexpectedly remote location, a bill of an unexpectedly expensive communication charge is avoided in advance by allowing the caller 401 to designate information representing the connection allowable range. |
