PURPOSE:To obtain a promoting method of nitration so that even the number of nitrosomonas in nitrobacteraceae can be counted, by caltivating nitrosomonas with a liquid containing at least one kind of org. compd. selected from polymer polysaccharides consisting of specified units polymerized in straight chains. CONSTITUTION:The nitration of nitrosomonas is promoted by caltivating nitrosomonas with a liquid containing at least one kind of org. compd. selected from polymer polysaccharides consisting of specified units polymerized in straight chains. This unit consists of (1) lactic acid or its salt, pyruvic acid or its salt, oxalacetic acid or its salt, citric acid or its salt, succinic acid or its salt, fumaric acid or its salt, malic acid or its salt, (2) glutamic acid or its salt, asparagic acid or its salt, serine or its salt, (3) alpha-L-rhamnose, alpha-L-fucose, D-glucuronic acid or its salt, N-acetyl-D-muramic acid, (4) one alpha-L-rhamnose molecule, one D-glucuronic acid and two molecules of D-glucose. |
