The pedestal base (1) is formed by a channel section (7) and a parallel U-section (8) which together provide ground clearance for the equipment and which are dimensioned to accept the forks of a stacker-truck for convenient transport/loading. The sections (7,8) are masked-off when in service by a pair of detachable angular frames (1) matched for front and rear insertion into the sections. The frames (1) have sides (13,14) which overlap the base of the equipment (2) for providing protection against potential damage due to over-balancing during transport. ADVANTAGE - Elevates equipment from floor to prevent possible water ingress and forms stable lifting/transporting structure for stacker-truck. Masking frames close-off sectional material and provide support to prevent over-balancing when moved.
