A method for the formation of an electrolyte layer of solid electrolytic capacitors is provided. The method comprises: (1) a step for the formation of an oxide film with dielectric properties on the surface of a porous electrode made of a valve metal, the electrode being electrically connected to an anode lead made of a valve metal, (2) a step for the impregnation of the electrode, on which the oxide film has been formed, with a solution of manganese nitrate, (3) a step for the electrostatic deposition of electrolyte powder particles on the surface of the electrode which has been impregnated with the solution, and (4) a step for the pyrolysis of the manganese nitrate to form an electrolyte layer on the surface of the oxide film.
