The compsn. which can be sprayed by a spray-gun or an aerosol, forming a mixt of fine particles, adherent and without threads when sprayed from the orifice of a spray device comprises (1) a mixt. of liq., volatile organic solvents, (2) ecological propellants, and (3) at least 3 wt.% elastomeric, thermoplastic, self-bonding pressure binder contg. (a) 20-60 wt.% of a mixt. of 0-100 pts. hydrogenated styrene triblock copolymer and 100-0 pts. hydrogenated styrene diblock copolymer, (b) 20-60% hydrogenated tackifier with softening point 70-160 deg.C, (c) 10-40% mineral oil or a satd. aliphatic liq. resin or a hydrogenated tackifier with softening point below 30 deg.C. and (d) 0.2-2% antioxidant, an anti-UV additive and an adhesion promoter. USE/ADVANTAGE - The compsn. is esp. used in adhesives which can be re-positioned. The amt. of binder is at least 3 wt.% and the adhesive does not form threads, does not yellow, and does not attack sensitive substrates.
