PURPOSE:To provide a suction nozzle device by which the suction condition of an electronic component sucked by a suction nozzle can be detected accurately and to provide an electronic component mounting device. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from light sources 10a, 10b is transmitted through a translucent board 6 and is cast on an electronic component 4a sucked by 8 suction nozzle 5. A transparent board 6a of the translucent board 6 is constituted of a transparent member, so light transmitted through the transparent board 6a and a semi-transparent thin board 6b and light transmitted only through the semi-transparent thin board 6b have the same lightness. Therefore, the brightness of light in the background of the electronic component 4a can be made uniform. When an image of the electronic component 4a is picked up by a camera, a shadow of the transparent board 6a is not projected and thereby an accurate image of the entire body of the electronic component 4a can be picked up. |
