PURPOSE:To provide a peptide useful for diagnosing and treating allergic diseases such as pollinosis, bronchial asthma and atopic dermatitis, etc., because of having a human IgE-bonding activity. CONSTITUTION:A peptide represented by formula: H-X<1>- SerGlyPheValCysAsnThrCysProGluLysTrpIleAsn-X<2>-Y (X<1> and X<2> are single bond or peptide fragment obtained by combining one to to five amino acid residues selected from the group consisting of Gly, Ala Val, Arg, Asn, Ser, Phe, Pro, Leu, Glu, Gln, Cys, Asp, Lys, Thr, His, Tyr, Nle, and Ile; Y is hydroxyl group or amino acid group) and having a human IgE-bonding activity, or its salt. |
