PURPOSE:To easily detach an iris without the decomposition of a lens barrel while warranting assembly accuracy of an iris. CONSTITUTION:The lens barrel is made up of a lens group comprising stationary lens groups 1,3 and/or moving lens groups 2,4 and an iris 9 arranged in lens barrels 5,8 along an optical axis I-I', slide guides 19,19 are formed to a 3rd group lens 3 adjacent to the iris 9 to be guides when the iris is inserted in a direction of nearly a right angle with respect to the optical axis. An engagement section 20 formed to the iris is fitted to a tip of a guide shaft 12 supporting a 4th group lens 4 to make tentative positioning. The iris is fixed finally by a bracket 23 of a stepping motor 11. |
