<p>The present invention relates to the devices (1) for locking a rod (2) with respect to an osseous part (8). The device according to the invention is characterised essentially by the fact that it comprises fixing means (3) which include a bar (4) and a head (5) with two faces (6, 7), the bar (4) being able to be connected to the osseous part (8), means (9) for joining the rod (2) to the head (5) comprising a substantially U-shaped bracket (10) which includes a base (11) and two branches (12, 13) integral with the base (11), means (14) for attaching the free end (15, 16) of the two branches (12, 13) to the head (5), and means (17) for exerting a couple of opposite forces between the bracket (10) and the head (5) by way of the rod (2) in such a way as to join the bracket (10), the head (5) and the rod (2).
