A device for mixing flowing media comprises an annular body 8 surrounding radial apertures 7 in a tubular member 6 serving as the main conduit, the annular body being subdivided into or composed of supply channels each opening into one of the apertures ; alternatively the supply channels may be formed as arcuate tubes. As shown, there are four channels 1-4 which extend from a common connecting flange 5. The device may be arranged in a throttle zone, Fig. 4. The apertures are arranged in staggered formation round the main conduit and the supply channels may be formed as tubes embracing the main conduit and extending from a common connecting flange (see Fig. 7). As shown in Fig. 4, the device may be fabricated from sheet material (see also Figs. 8-11, not shown). |
