<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the coloring material which can color concrete in natural feeling by penetrating the mixture of polyethylene oxide with dye and pigment, etc., and attaching the penetrated layer to a base material. CONSTITUTION:Ethylen oxide is ring-opening polymerized and the polyethylene oxide having 0.1-5 million mol.wt. is produced. Then the polyethylene oxide is mixed with the dye or pigment, and if necessary, the surfactant produced by fermentation is further mixed, and the mixture is penetrated into the concrete. Then, the obtained concrete-penetrated layer having 30-200mum thickness is attached to the base material such as paper, cloth, synthetic resin and plywood or steel and a coloring material for concrete is produced. How to use the coloring material is that the concrete-penetrated layer is brought into contact with the surface of concrete before dried and the polyethylene oxide is dissolved with the water contained in the concrete, and the dye and pigment contained in the penetrated layer is penetrated on the surface of the concrete, thus the concrete is colored.</p> |
