摘要 PURPOSE:To stop a plant safely by a fail-safe method even in case of urgent and serious trouble such as the power loss and the loss of instrumentation air by providing a breaking valve which is ''closed'' in compliance with its fail-safe function on the supply systems of raw material fuel and air respectively. CONSTITUTION:In case of the loss of a signal from the outside and an instrumentation air source, nitrogen gas supplied from a nitrogen gas supply valve 17 in a fuel system is exhausted from a discharge valve 25 while mixing with the nitrogen gas supplied from the nitrogen gas supply valve 20 through a breaking valve 22 while purging raw material gas and modified fuel gas inside a modifying tube 8. On the other hand, the air system discharges surplus air while closing the air supply breaking valves 26-28. Accordingly, a turbine 11 comes to a standstill because the supply of both combustion energy and air, is cut off. And when the nitrogen gas supply valve 21 is opened, nitrogen gas is supplied to a fuel pole gas chamber 5 of the fuel battery proper 1 and discharged from the discharge valve 25 while purging the inside of an air pole gas chamber 5. Thereby, a separation valve 24 is closed in compliance with its fail-safe function, while being opened in a normal operation.
