PURPOSE:To provide a method for determining whether a two-liquid reaction- type resin material is suited for a reaction injection molding die and a device used when this method is applied. CONSTITUTION:An isocyanate liquid and a polyol liquid which are accepted as suitable for molding using a specified die, are supplied to a mixing head 3 from feedstock liquid supply pipes 1, 2. The mixture liquid prepared by the mixing head 3 is infused into a reaction cylinder 5 of transparent tube connected to a nozzle 4. The reaction cylinder 5 is tilted at an angle of 45 deg. which corresponds to the casting angle of the die. A jacket 6 is provided on the outer periphery of the reaction cylinder 5, and a medium such as hot water supplied from a thermal medium (or coolant) inlet 7 passes through a double pipe 8 and is discharged from a thermal medium (or coolant) outlet 9. Further, a peep window 10 for measuring the amount of foam is provided on the jacket 6 and has graduations. |
