A training device (1) essentially consists of two bars (2, 3) and two carriages (4, 5) with recesses for the bars (2, 3). The bars (2, 3) are laid on a flat surface and engaged in the recesses of both lowered down carriages (4, 5). A person can position himself on both carriages (4, 5) and move then towards or away from each other against a low friction force. Moving the carriages (4, 5) requires an expenditure of force which in turn causes the muscles to become stronger. |
