PURPOSE:To easily correspond to the change of equipments by reading the data of household electric appliances by a bar code reader. CONSTITUTION:An interface terminal 40 is provided in a main controller (MC) 20 for monitoring and controlling the household electric appliances 90 connected to system adapters 30 and a bar code output terminal 60 provided through a cable in the bar code reader 70 and input/output terminals 61 provided through the cables in the respective household electric appliances 90 can be respectively connected to the input/output terminals 50 of the system adapters (SA) 30. Then, the bar code reader 70 reads bar codes 80 (the names of the kinds of the appliances, power consumption) attached to the respective household electric appliances 90, reads the bar codes 80 when a read switch 7OA is pressed and transmits the read bar codes 80 to the SA 30 when a transmission switch 70B is pressed. |
