PURPOSE:To provide an electrolytic cell into which all the catholytes are surely and easily introduced around a cathode. CONSTITUTION:An isolating flow-straightening cylindrical plate 25 is fixed to the upper peripheral edge of a cathode plate 22 and extended upward from the cathode plate 22. A liq. supplied from the inside of the cylindrical plate 25 toward the inside of the cathode plate 22 is isolated by the cylindrical plate 22 from a liq. flowing into an outlet passage 40 from a cathode chamber 39 outside the cathode plate 22. Consequently, all the liqs. supplied toward the inside of the cathode plate 22 are surely introduced into the cathode chamber 39, and consequently the gaseous component generated on the surface of the cathode plate 22 is agitated, discharged and removed. |
