PURPOSE:To provide a bus network cable, on which an elastic contact of function socket is constantly abutted, in which disconnection does not occur when a function plug is not inserted, and by which an apparatus is linked by inserting the plug. CONSTITUTION:A function socket 3 on which an opposed elastic contact group 5 is normally abutted, is provided on a closet 4, and a BNC connector 2 to be linked with a common bus network cable 1, is provided on the closet 4. The BNC connector 2 and the function socket 3 are connected together, and a connection cable 6 for linking between the socket 3 and an information unit 24, is formed of a twin coaxial cable. A function plug 9 of the cable is formed of a contact group 8 corresponding to the elastic contact 5, and a BNC connector 27 is mounted on the other end of the cable. The system is easily expanded or modified only by inserting the function plug of the cable to be connected to the unit 24, in the socket 3. Even when the plug 9 is not inserted, an elastic contact pair are abutted, and even when the plug is to be drawn out, the bus network cable 1 is not disconnected. |
