PURPOSE:To provide the solvent composition, composed of a specific hydrofluorocarbon and capable of maintaining excellent characteristics of conventional trichlorofluoroethane and effectively removing fats and oils, etc., sticking to IC constituent parts, etc. CONSTITUTION:The solvent composition for cleaning is composed of a hydrofluorocarbon(HFC) of the formula R1-CFR2-CH3 {R1 is CmF2n+1-m [0<=(m)<=3 when (n) is 1; 0<=(m)<=5 when 2<=(n)<=4]; R2 is F or CaHbF2a+1-b [0<=(b)<=3 when (a) is 1; 0<=(b)<=5 when 2<=(a)<=3, with the proviso that (n), (a), (m) and (b) are 2<=(n+a)<=4 and 0<=[(m+b)<=5]}. 1,1,2,2,3,3-Hexafluoroethane, 1,1,1,2,3,3- hexafluorobutane, etc., are preferred as the HFC. The content of the HFC in the composition is preferably 80wt.% or more. |
