摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a production method which produces a nonlinear optical micro structure element to permit a combination which is not conventionally used, especially, a combination of a polymer having linear optical property and a polymer having a nonlinear optical property. CONSTITUTION: In this production method for a nonlinear optical micro structure element, a mold insert 19 having a waveguide structure is produced as a male mold by X-ray deep layer lithography and minute molding technique, and the waveguide structure is stamped in a material essentially consisting of a polymer by the mold insert, and next, a linear optical material 9 is charged in the stamped waveguide structure. After the waveguide structure is charged, at least one micro cell structure is formed in at least the area of the linear optical material by X-ray deep layer lithography, and a nonlinear optical material 20 is inserted into the micro cell structure.
