PURPOSE:To provide the printing method/device of a rewrite card by which the use life of the rewrite card can be prolonged by effectively using the printing area of the rewrite card. CONSTITUTION:This device rewrites/prints card information into the printing area 31 of the rewrite card provided with the printing area 31 rewriting/printing card information and a storage part storing card information. The printing area 31 is divided and set into plural areas, and use situation information such as the use area and the number of use times of the respective divided printing areas 31a-31c are stored in the storage part. At the time of printing, use situation information of card information is read, the divided printing areas 31a-31b are selected so that a printing processing becomes a uniform one for the whole printing area 31 based on information. Card information is rewritten and printed into the divided printing areas 31a-31b. |
