PURPOSE:To constitute the device so that colors of an original image and a reproduced image seem to coincide with each other under the respective observation environments, even if an observation light source of an image is different from a standard light source, and also, even if an observation light source of the original image and an observation light source of the reproducing image are different from each other. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted of an image input means 1 for reading a color of an original image and generating a chrominance signal, light source sensing means 2, 3 for sensing the original image and reproducing image, and reading light source information such as chromaticity and luminance, etc., of each of them, a light source storage means 4 for storing each light source information, a color correcting means 5 for executing a color correction so that colors of the original image and the reproducing image coincide with each other by using a chromatic adaptation equation, based on each light source information, and an image output means 6 for outputting the reproducing image. |
