<p>PURPOSE:To improve the versatility of control for an abnormality checking function and the reliability of a system by providing a progammable controller with a set storing means for storing abnormality checking process in order for executing the detection of an abnormal state by an abnormality detecting means in optional order and making it possible to set up/change the contents of the set storing means from a peripheral device. CONSTITUTION:The programmable controller has an abnormality check table part 10 for detecting various abnormal states and an abnormal history memory 6 for registering abnormal contents detected by the table part 10. An abnormality check processing order setting memory 5 stores abnormality checking process order for executing the detection of various abnormal states by the table part 10 in optional order and the contents of the memory 5 can be set up/changed from a peripheral device. A CPU 11 executes abnormality checking processing in accordance with the contents set up in the memory 5 at the time of an end processing. Thus the versatility of the system can be improved.</p> |
