PURPOSE:To obtain a new compound useful for preventing and treating acute myocardial infarction because of possession of inhibitory action on cell adhesion and inhibition of blood platelet agglutination and useful as an antitumor agent because of inhibition of cancer metastasis. CONSTITUTION:A compound of formula I [G is amidino or amino; D is 2-6 atom chain spacer which may be through hetero atom and/or 5 to 6-membered ring with the proviso that the 5- to 6-membered ring is calculated as 2-3 atom chain depending upon bonded position; R<1> is H, benzyl, etc.; R<2> and R<3> are residue after removal of CH(NH2)COOH from alpha-amino acid; X is H or lower alkyl; Z is anion-forming group or group changing to anion in vivo] such as (S)-4-(4-amidinobenzoylglycyl)-2-oxopiperazine-1,3-diacetate. The compound is obtained by condensing a compound of formula II with a compound of formula III by a method of using a peptide forming reagent such as dicyclohexylcarbodiimide, etc. |
