发明名称 FIBROUS CARRIER FOR IMMOBILIZING PHYSIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE SUBSTANCE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a fibrous carrier for immobilizing a physiologically active substance capable of remarkably improving the reactivity without requiring a large-scale reactional apparatus by adsorbing the physiologically active substance on a fibrous structure, prepared by heat-bonding fiber with a heat-bondable fiber and having groups of through-holes in the thickness direction. CONSTITUTION:The objective fibrous carrier is obtained by carrying out the heat bonding treatment of a fibrous structure comprising at least 20wt.% core-sheath type, eccentric core-sheath type or lamination type heat bonding conjugate fiber containing a low-melting polymer such as a polyolefin, a copolyester or copolyamide as one component at a higher temperature than the melting point of the heat bonding component in the heat bonding fiber, providing the heat bonded fibrous structure having 20mm or larger thickness, then passing plural heat-resistant rodlike materials through the fibrous structure in the thickness direction thereof, forming groups of through-holes having 20% or more opening ratio indicating the ratio of the total opening area of the plural through-holes based on the cross-sectional area of the fibrous structure in the direction perpendicular to the through-holes and subsequently further heat- treating the resultant fibrous structure at a higher temperature than the melting point of the heat bonding component in the heat bonding fiber.
