PURPOSE:To execute a translation to a more natural target language by selecting preferentially a designated translated word or translated sentence, so that the translated word or translated sentence of its specific word and phrase can be changed suitably in accordance with a context in a document. CONSTITUTION:With regard to specific word and phrase in a text to which a translation processing is executed, a translated word or a translated sentence being a translation of this word and phrase is described in a position in which a corresponding relation to its specific word and phrase is indicated explicitly at least in one part, and the text in which the translated word or the translated sentence is designated is inputted, for instance, from a translated word designating text input part 10. Subsequently, at the time of analyzing, converting or generating the inputted text by an analyzing/converting/generating part 20, in the case it is recognized to be the specific word and phrase, a translated word designating/selecting part 40 comes to select the translated word or the translated sentence described in its vicinity. In such a way, an analyzed, converted and generated target language sentence is post-edited in accordance with necessity and outputted from an output part 30. |
