<p>PURPOSE:To purify a large volume of water at a large depth, in the water purifying apparatus of a dam or the like, by arranging an air chamber outside the lower parts of a plurality of water pumping up cylinders so as to supply compressed air to the respective cylinders and connecting the upper end of a large diameter water pumping-up cylinder to the lower ends of the water pumping-up cylinders and providing a self-supporting means to the water pumping-up cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Water pumping-up cylinders 1a-1d are integrated in parallel to constitute a composite water pumping-up cylinder 2 and floats 3, 3 are fixed to the upper part of the cylinder 2. An air chamber 4 is fitted and fixed to the lower end part of the cylinder 2 and, further, the upper end of a large diameter cylinder 5 (water pumping-up cylinder) is connected to the lower end of the air chamber 4 to be connected to the respective water pumping-up cylinders 1. Cables 6 are attached to the lower end flange 21 of the cylinder 5 to connect a wt. 9. By this constitution, the composite water pumping-up cylinder 2 and the cylinder 5 are arranged in water in an upright connected state. An air accumulating chamber 7 is fixed to the upper part of the air chamber 2 and both chambers 4, 7 are allowed to communicate mutually by a communicated hole. A chemical agent is injected in the respective water pumping-up chambers 1 from a chemical agent injection hose 20. The air chamber 4, the water pumping-up chambers 1 and the cylinder 5 are allowed to communicate mutually.</p> |
