PURPOSE:To provide a printing system device having excellent reliability capable of alleviating work load of an operator and printing properly and quickly without error. CONSTITUTION:When a block copy 2 is to be made by an electronic composing machine 1, a code for designating at least type of printing paper and the number of sheets to be printed is added to a printable margin of the block copy 2. Based on this block copy 2, a machine plate 4 is made by an electronic engraving machine 3, and the machine plate 4 is set in a full automatic printing machine 5. At this time, the code on the machine plate 4 is read by a reader 13 and displayed on a display section. According to the display, an operator confirms contents of an order and the number of sheets to be printed. In the full automatic printing machine 5, images on the machine plate 4 will be printed on a printing paper 6 and the number of sheets to be printed is controlled in accordance with the contents which are read by the reader 13. |
