PURPOSE:To provide an optical pickup capable of changing the spacing of light spots by changing the image positions of the light emitting points of a semiconductor laser device with multiple beams. CONSTITUTION:This optical pickup comprizes a laser diode having plural light emitting points A, B arranged by a prescribed spacing and an optical member that provides reflection surfaces 33a, 33b forming the images A1, B1 of the plural light emitting points A, B so as to change the prescribed spacing of the plural light emitting points A, B. The light beams emitted from the plural light emitting points A, B are made incident on a condenser lens 34 through the reflection surfaces 33a, 33b and light spots A1', B1' are formed on an optical recording medium 39. |
