PURPOSE:To provide the picture fetching device capable of properly changing the resolution of the fetching picture into high and low and featuring the high processing speed. CONSTITUTION:The picture of an object to be tested 1 photographed by a video camera 2 is sent to a selector 4 and brought into a picture memory 3. The picture element of an image pickup element 20 is made horizontal 1024 and vertical 480. The picture memory 3 is constructed by picture memories 3a-3d making the horizontal and vertical addresses 512X480. The relative relation between the image pickup element 20 and the object to be tested 1 is moved by the half picture element width in the standard picture element number direction by a linear table 6 to fetch the doubled picture. The selector 4 performs switching to halve the sampling number in the double picture element number direction of the image pickup element 20. |
