PURPOSE:To miniaturize a spline forming device and to improve the working precision. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve knock-out 14 is made in slidingly contact with the inner peripheral surface of a die 2. By this method, a hole 201 and the sleeve knock-out 14 can be positioned in the condition of mutually coinciding with the axes, and the edge 4 part of a forming punch 3 is held so as to be slidable in the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve knock-out 14, and by preventing the displacement of the tip part of the forming punch 3, the sleeve knock-out 14 and the forming punch 3 are made to mutually coincide with the axes so as to be use hole 201 as the reference and the cold-forging of the spline having high precision can be executed. The, by arranging a means synchronously shifting the sleeve knock-out 14 with ascending and descending of the die 2, the knock-out quantity of the roughly worked shaft part is almost equalized with the spline knock-out amount and the knock-out amount of the roughly worked shaft part can be reduced and the whole spline forming device is miniaturized. |
