Electronic servo control for throttle return - has self-adjusting control with correction signal added to position control signal
摘要
The return of the throttle valve to the idling position is under the retarding force of a servo driven stop (18) which causes the throttle to reduce in a controlled manner, and stop at the optimum idling position. The servo drive is calibrated by monitoring the time taken to reach a set position, or the error in the programmed time. A correction signal is added to the drive signal to ensure accurate position control. The system is first set up w.r.t the fastest servo motor speed. The end of the stop has a switch which monitors the throttle valve. A self calibrating control monitors the dynamics of the system and generates the correction signals, as well as updating the correction signals. ADVANTAGE - Simple position control without separate monitors required.
