A compensating hydrostatic micromanometer composed of two tanks containing manometric liquid, one movable and one fixed, which are interconnected by means of an elastic tube, and a base, characterized in that it is equipped with a movable arm (6) comprising a sliding head (8) and an immovable arm (14), where one end of the movable arm (6) is fixed rotationally in relation to the horizontal base (1) and the fixed tank (2), whilst the movable tank (9) is mounted in the sliding head (8) of the movable arm (6), and the immovable arm (14) has the form of a segment of a ring which is fixed at one end to the horizontal base (1) and whose symmetry axis lies in the symmetry axis of the fixed tank (2) and the axis of revolution of the movable tank (6).<IMAGE>
