<p>A hot wire level indicator equipped with self-calibration and current compensation comprising a microprocessor (MP) and a non-volatile EEPROM memory (ER) controls the current (I) through a resistance sensor (RL) through a closed ring circuit comprising two converters, one a digital/analog (D/A) converter upstream from sensor (RL) and an analog/digital (A/D) converter downstream from sensor (RL) and a control circuit (B) and a feedback loop (FB). This device can be used to achieve high accuracy and also makes the calibration operation completely automatic and very fast. <IMAGE></p> |
