RECORDING CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC STILL CAMERA

PURPOSE:To provide the recording classification system for an electronic still camera by which ease of retrieval is attained without any complicated operation and pictures of desired kind are classified and reproduced by recording codes used to classify types of objects at image pickup corresponding to object images and designating the classification code at reproduction so as to attain multiple- reproduction, sequential reproduction and track map display for each classification. CONSTITUTION:A classification code is inputted by a classification code input key 8b proper to image pickup and the code is stored in a tentative recording section 6a. A video image is recorded on an idle track of a floppy disk 14 by an image pickup system signal processing circuit 4 and a recording circuit 5 and the classification code is written onto a cue track in addition by an NRZ write circuit 10. When a classification mode key 8a is depressed to enter the desired classification code in the case of reproduction, the video image of the classification code is read and reproduced by a reproduction circuit 16. Track map display/multiple reproduction is attained through the classification designation.
