PURPOSE:To obtain the photopolymerizable composition high in sensitivity and storage stability by incorporating a specified photopolymerization initiator. CONSTITUTION:This photopolymerizable composition contains an ethylenically unsaturated compound and the photopolymerization initiator having a quaternary ammonium N obtained by allowing a compound having an aminomethyl group to react with a compound having halomethyl group and filtering a precipitated compound, and this initiator can be used in combination with another initiator, such as a carbonyl compound, an organic sulfur compound, a persulfide, a redox type compound, azo and diazo compounds, halides, or a photoreducible dye. That ethylenically unsaturated compound is embodied, preferably, by polyol acrylate and methacrylate. |
