<p>PURPOSE:To automatically close the cover of a tape cassette with cover when the tape cassette is used, by providing a cover closing means which moves in the cover closing direction along the upper surface of the cassette in connection with an unsetting operation. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette 1 is taken out under a condition where the cassette 1 inserted into a cassette recorder is set to the playing position and a cover 2 is opened, cassette holders 7-10 are lifted up against the force of springs 13 and 14. As the cassette holders are lifted up, a cover closing member 15 together with a coupling member 20 compressed to a zigzag condition between the cassette main body 1 and upper chassis 6 is extended to have a linear shape. Therefore, a pushing section 16 which is a free end moves in the direction, in which the section 16 closes the opened cover 2 by pushing the rear edge, and closes the cover 2 before the completion of the lifting up of the cassette 1.</p> |
