PURPOSE:To correctly recognize an article having an uneven surface. CONSTITUTION:A light from a ring illuminator 4 is reflected by a mirror 10 provided on an illumination adapter 9, and its reflected light is incident on a diffusion plate 13 through a lens cap 11 to be diffused. The diffused light is irregularly reflected on a cylinder 14 to irradiate a substrate recognition mark 3 on a printed board 2. A reflected light from the mark 3 is imaged by a recognition camera via through holes 15, 16 of the plate 13 and a lens cap 11. |
