The capacitor (3,4) is of layer structure of superconducting layer parts (5a,5b) of metal oxide superconducting material with a high step temp. and intermediate solid dielectric layers (6,6'). At least one antenna loop (2) is made with the superconducting material of the capacitor and mounted on a substrate (8) made of a material matching the superconducting material. The substrate material can be used as the intermediate dielectric layers of the layer structure. ADVANTAGE - Antenna designed for reduced capacitor losses, allowing greater distances from patient or object under investigation.
