The tool has a bordering roller (46) for pressing against the edge of the mudguard wheel house, which is coupled to a fastening flange (4) to be secured to the car axle, with the roller pivotable about the car axle. The roller portion w.r.t. the fastening flange is pref. adjustable. The distance of the roller to the fastening flange may also be adjustable and its incline (beta) to the flange is also adjustable. The roller and flange are typically coupled by a telescopic tube (10), which permits swivel of both the roller and flange. USE/ADVANTAGE - For mounting wide tyres and rims with simple, uniform operation, without damage to varnish.
