PURPOSE:To form the specified waveform curved-face on the inside surface of a mold with high efficiency by grinding the inside surface with a rotary grinding wheel which is provided with the specific curved-face and width and arrayed with abrasive grains of different hardnesses according to peripheral speeds in laminar form. CONSTITUTION:In the rotary grinding wheel 6 which is provided with the curved surface and width corresponding to one pitch of the waveform 5 to be formed on the inside surface of the mold for said waveform, the hardnesses of the abrasive grain layers 7a, 7b, 7c arrayed in laminar form are changed according to the mean peripheral speeds of the respective areas, then the rate of abrasion of the grinding wheel becomes constant and therefore the durability improves and the specified ground curved-face may be surely and readily formed on the inside surface of the mold. |
