PURPOSE:To obtain food useful as custard cream, etc., having reduced intake of cholesterol without using egg, containing a specific compound and an isothiocyanic ester. CONSTITUTION:This food contains (A) preferably 0.005-1wt.% compound of the formula (R<1> and R<2> are H, acyl, alkyl or alkenyl; X is saccharide or saccharide derivative) such as phosphatidylinositol and (B) preferably 0.001-0.2wt.% isothiocyanic ester such as allyl isothiocyanate but substantially no egg yolk. |
