The compensation circuit has an input received by parallel amplifiers (V1-Vn) from a video modulator (E). A converter (W1) monitors output power and provides an input, to a regulator (R). The video signal modulated output has a synchronising peak (S), black level (Z) and white value (W). The regulator output is rectified (G1) and the averaged value (U1) has a value (UW) subtracted to provide a signal (U2) independent of the synchronising value and is used in a shaping circuit (K1) to generate a control voltage (U6) for the amplifiers. USE/ADVANTAGE - For changing amplification of TV transmitter. Developed control voltage is simultaneously adjusted to output level of amplifier.
