The spoked wheel hub for a wheel chair has a hub body (7), two ball bearings (2 3) and two spoke discs (5 6) made of steel or other similarly rigid material, each having a crown of holes (8 9) in which to fit the spokes. The spoke discs fit on to the outer rings (4) of the ball bearings. The hub body, which is made of aluminium or plastics, is provided at both ends with axially protruding projections (10, 11) which engage reception openings (12 13) in the spoke discs. ADVANTAGE - Spoked wheel hub having high stability and load bearing capacity but with a considerably reduced total weight.
